Sketch Book

It doesn't look much does it? "Army Book 138", which may well have been obtained by my Grandfather during WWI, was turned into my Father's Sketch Book: I believe he started using it in 1922.

I have decided to make the sketches available for viewing and they are actually shown larger than life size, the original book being approxinately seven inches by five inches. Most scenes depicted are in Northamptonshire and where possible they are identified; should you recognize a place that is not identified or should you have any further information regarding any of the sketches I would be very grateful if you would contact me. The original sketches were all in pencil but many have been inked over.
